Merchants Want a Broadway for Everybody

We've spoken with the owners of 27 stores so far. 18 heartily endorsed a protected bike lane on Broadway. The remainder are largely interested or on the fence.

Our discussions involve two key points.

1. The bike lane will help their bottom lines
2. The community needs to work together to better utilize the 740 off-street parking spaces along Broadway. That will free up one side of on-street parking for the bike lane.
