On December 7, 2018, a student was hit by a car on school grounds. The child was in the crosswalk between the High School's main door and the Korean Church. The driver of the car reportedly ignored the stop sign. The injuries were serious enough to require hospitalization.
Cars are the #1 killer of kids. Cars need to be kept away from schools.
We wrote a letter to Superintendent Borsari about this: https://biketarrytown.org/schools/2018-12-10-high-school-crash-response.php
Morning Meditation: I need to think of every kid, not just my kid.
Yep, "meetings," plural. We set up a series for the last Sunday of each month.
We'll watch a quick video and then discuss how to make stuff happen. Refreshments will be served. A baby sitter will hang with our kids in the Childrens' Room.
