A bicycle helmet bill may get introduced to the County Legislature.

Walk / Bike to School

While schools are operating at ~50% capacity, the buses will be operating at 30% capacity.  For health, safety and environmental reasons, it is important to keep cars away from schools.

If you want to collaborate with families in your neighborhood about walking or cycling to school in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown, send us an email with your neighborhood and which school your kids are heading to. We'll put you in touch with your neighbors on Wednesday, 9/16.

School Streets

Streets at school entrances are being made safe and healthy during arrival and dismissal for everyone walking and rolling.
